On July 1, 2022, the City of Tuscaloosa launched a community survey on the Lake Nicol and Harris Lake master plan. The purpose of the survey was to understand the community’s current use of and future desires for the lakes.

The survey took less than 5 minutes to complete and was available until late August 2022. Survey participants had the option to be entered into a drawing for a chance to win two Tuscaloosa Amphitheater concert tickets.

On August 22, 2022 from 3 p.m. – 6 p.m., the City held a community engagement event at the Phelps Activity Center for the community to provide feedback on the master plan.
